What is ARIA?
ARIA is a portfolio intelligence platform. It unifies your holdings across brokers, compares performance to benchmarks, and shows how institutional-grade risk management could improve your outcomes.
Is ARIA free to use?
Yes, completely free. Create an account and get started. Premium features may be introduced later, but the core platform will always be accessible.
Which brokers are supported?
AJ Bell, Interactive Investor, and Interactive Brokers via CSV or PDF upload. You can also manually enter your portfolio.
Does ARIA predict stock returns?
No. ARIA focuses on what is quantifiable: position sizing, diversification, and risk management. We do not predict returns.
How does portfolio optimisation work?
ARIA analyses the covariance structure of your holdings and determines position sizes that reduce portfolio volatility while maintaining return potential.
What is the backtest playground?
Test any combination of securities over custom time periods. Add hypothetical positions and see how they would have performed historically.
What benchmarks can I compare against?
S&P 500 by default. You can configure custom benchmarks for any index relevant to your strategy.
Is my financial data secure?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with row-level security. We never share your data with third parties.
Do I need an account to use the free calculators?
No. Every calculator in the free tools library runs in your browser with no signup required. An account is only needed for the full platform — importing transactions, portfolio analytics, optimisation, and backtesting.
Is anything on ARIA financial advice?
No. ARIA and its calculators are for educational and illustrative purposes only. Backtests illustrate methodology rather than guaranteeing results, and past performance does not indicate future results. Always consult a qualified adviser before making personal financial decisions.
